Intuition 03:55
You have no place inside my heart, you where not here straight from the start. Can't believe it's been so long, since I've written a new song. My time is filled with mindless tasks, the kind that eat me up to fast. If you Tell me to stay strong, making cash it can't be wrong. Tell you it's been killing me, caught the shot between my teeth. deep beneath my thick skin, my intuition's kicking in. It understands what is good, knows the things that I should. Call it anything you feel, my intuitions very real. I see you standing in the rain. Underneath the stream, keeping your self clean. Where have you been, where have you been. You crept in without a sound, you knew just how to get around. My soul diluting what was whole, present bliss went out the door. All my thoughts had turned to shit and all my anger flourished in it. Thought I had lost my head, soon found love wasn't dead. Only subdued by your cloud, you were dark but I was loud. I had made a plan to kill all the things that gave you fill and all the hate you understood I took it out because I could. Because I. I see you standing in the rain. Underneath the stream, keeping your self clean. Where have you been, where have you been.

Gold 03:42
Checking out, checking in, I know somehow it will begin. The road I'm on for better things. The things I say, the ones listening. Checking in, Checking out. Things that I, can't live without. Like all my love and all my doubt. It lifts me up, it lets me down. All my weight is gold, all my wait is long. All my weight is gold, all my wait is long. Making gains, shooting for. All my aims they do implore, that I might change, might metamorph. An element, gold of course. In the ground, waiting for any sounds as if it were a place I'm bound to get a chance, opf being found, of sweet romance. All my weight is gold, all my wait is long. All my weight is gold, all my wait is long.

Watching the tide, waiting for someone els to arrive. Looking inside, trying to find the things that we hide. Where does the wind blow when it reaches shore. Where is the window, where is the door. Taking walk, trying to forget the clock. Breaking the lock, breaking the law. Hoping that they don't come knocking. Why is the wind cold when it's coming home. Why do I feel old, when I'm all alone. Pick it apart, tear it to shreds. Ohh my heart, Ohh my head. I cant be tought. I can't be tamed. I'am who I'am I can't be contained. It is my hope, release from my chains. I see the moon, pulling me back to soon. I'll heal your wounds, sucking the poison out of you. When is the right time to give it all away. When are you all mine, can it be today. Chasing a dream, life isn't always as it seems. Tasting the cream, it's not about where you are or where you've been. what do you feel inside, when the world is quiet. Pick it apart, tear it to shreds. Ohh my heart, Ohh my head. I cant be tought. I can't be tamed. I'am who I'am I can't be contained. It is my hope, release from my chains.

Horizon 03:54
Who's that knocking at my back door. I don't know, I don't know, I don;'t know if I want to know. I've got two eyes at the back of my head and I'm trying to remember all of the things I've said. Well it's too late, too much at stake. That's what I'd say everyday that I awaked, now I'm awake. I found out all of their secrets, the ones I couldn't see because I standing beneath it and I, ran ground floating on thin air. You can tell from that sound, when you've already been there. I'll just go knee deep and pull it all back to sea, actually I believe in good time we'll all be free. yeah, we'll be. You can see it raising up. It's a sight for patient eyes. When you see that bitter love, know it's good for your mind. And the blood that holds your heart, to the closest thing it finds. When the sun is far behind, one is closer to a new horizon. Who's that creeping at my back door. I don't know, I don't know, I don;'t know if I want to know. I've got two minds at the side of my head and they're trying to remember all the things I've read. Well it's too late, at l;east thats what they say. I'm dreaming now, but I'm still awake. I found out all of their secrets the one's that I couldn't speak of because I gave word that I'd keep it. And I, ran ground, ran ground floating on thin air you can tell from that sound, when you've already been there. I'll just go beneath and pull it all up to breath, actually I believe in good time we'll all be free. yeah, we'll be. You can see it raising up. It's a sight for patient eyes. When you see that bitter love, know it's good for your mind. And the blood that holds your heart, to the closest thing it finds. When the sun is far behind, one is closer to a new horizon.

about

Intuitive Measure is a little like when your brain says no but your gut says yes and you go with your gut Because your gut knows best.

A collaboration between Thomas Daxon and Philip Wesle, along with some friends ( Pascal Gysi, D England and Joe Smith ). In a home studio set up in a flash, musicians toil away at riffs, licks, bass lines and poetry to create four unique songs.
What came of it? Nostalgic lead guitar lines, smooth and groovy bass floating in harmony with lively drums and thoughtful introspective lyrics that carry a powerful message, follow your gut, find your dreams, break away from the norm and find your own path.

This Album was a blast to write and record, we hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed creating it.

Cheers,

The lads from Flip Tavish.
